Neat trick, but awfully complicated. You can actually do the same thing in a much much simpler way using an ordinary Tesla coil. Attach a wire on the emission part, hold it with a REALLY well-insulated object, like a long piece of wood, and you can push small pieces of paper around with the discharge from the wire. Literally becomes an ionic fan.

So this is the same thing as a lifter right? i wonder if you could make one of these stong enough for a jet engine

At about 30 kV for the output and the input is tuned with a lab power supply (30V and 5 Amps). 6 turns of wire on the flyback primary.

at which voltages are you working with the flyback transformer and at which input voltages and how many amps?
