Killer Home Chest Workout

Author: scooby1961
Description: http://scoobysworkshop.com Here is a great chest workout you can do at home with a cheap dumbbell set. Big gyms are nice but when you can get a killer workout at home without the overhead of getting to and from the gym. In this chest workout we are going to do pushups, then with no rest immediately do flys, then with no rest immediately do dumbbell press. Make sure and use a much lighter weight than you usually would on the flys and dumbbell press because after the pushups you wont have much left in you. After doing this set of three exercises, wait 2-5 minutes and do it again. Do 5-8 sets like this and you will be sore the next day. As with all dumbbell exercises, form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. ya abs should be fine im 16 btw and i worked on my abs wen i was about 14 and now i just do it moderately and its paid off now im just trying to get my chest out since im pretty skinny and if i stay the same ill hav bad bak problems in the future

try pro5 its pretty good. tasty too. um when you start im pretty sure its about 0.6 grams per every pound of your body weight, then more as you continually work out. maintain a good schedule and dont just work out your arms every day..

Poor baby, Im too hostile, go get mommy to make it all better.

yeah seriously. his viens are poppin out like an inch..

steroids

....they is something that i have to look for it the ingredient or just on the jar if i cant find the Optimum Nutrition ....like low in carbs?....and i use to do my arm and chest one day...the other days my leg....and the third one my back and shoulders ...and after take a day of....that look ok to you? doing cardio can reduce my muscle? because im skinny and have almost ....i will maybe have more question in the future....sorry about the bad english btw haha.....hope you can answer me!!!

hii im a 5'10 skinny guy like 160 lbs....i just bought a 1 years subcription at a local gym and .i want to know how many protein i need to eat (in a day) to help my muscle to grow better....and i dont have a lot of money to spend so i have no choice to turn to a bit of protein powder....i know you that you love the Optimum Nutrition but if i cant find it at store (because order from internet afraid me because of the shipping rate)

guys if i use a fitness band at my age will it stunt my growthi am 13 years old please reply back thank you

oh shit, i gave up on the first exercise on 4th try. im in bad shape :(

At 15 ,though, can you start working on abs?

Let your body grow before you start BULKING up... getting fit and toned is fine, but adding a lot of mass to your frame can stunt your growth at 13 man... and no fucking way did you see a 200 pound 7yr old, thats just retarded.

it's a good workout, but it is so boring to do it :P

this dude is huge!

haha u play runescape haha

Well.. im 13 and im already about 173 pounds from working out regularly! (fathers says it's good for health) enyway So yah i think it depends on how fast u mature.. Iv'e seen 7 year olds that are almost 200 pounds and have fucking huge arms! cuzz there dads made them work out.. so just cuzz ur 13 dosent mean ur not rdy to bulk up!

when i do the last exercise with the dumb bells, it hurts my hand, because it "pushes" down on my hand . what shall i do . and by the way how heavy are those dumb bells u were using in the film

training with ur own bodyweight shouldnt be a prob.... press ups sit ups etc.

To be honest, at the age of 13 your body isn't ready to start bulking up and packing on muscle. Your body doesn't begin producing optimal testosterone levels for muscle growth until a few years later.

First of all, you are way too hostile. Secondly, I told him about the important of DIET, which you failed to mention at all. Also you said that "Lifting weights won't burn off any excess flab"...which actually it definitely does if you eat right. But you're right, I'm the one that looks stupid. Good game.

I answered his question, in addition to his weightlifting, he should do consistent cardio...good for you genius, way to read and comprehend. I guess you just needed to show everyone how much you know, and end up looking stupid

That is a huge misconception. Doing cardio does burn calories for the time that you do it, but building muscle increases your metabolism keeping your body burning more calories throughout the day to maintain the muscles. Weightlifting (resistance) and cardio should be used together with a good diet. The balanced, healthy diet is actually probably the most important key to losing excess fat.
