Rapid Detox.Fully conscious.Day 1.

Author: balckbettystack
Description: After 4 weeks on Morphine and Dilaudid, it was having no effect. My body had developed a tolerance so it was time to give these horrible pain killers the flick once again! This time I was still in hospital. Thank goodness as this detox would have literally killed me at home. I knew what I was about to face. Withdrawls. BUT no where near where I thought it was going to be. I have NEVER had withdrawls this severe. It was agonisingly painful. I did a rapid detox, the detox that they give a general anaesthetic (GA) for, along with medications to reverse the effects of withdrawls and any medications left in the system. I however did it WITHOUT the GA. All I used was a Ketamine infusion, Clonadine and an occasional Valium. They use a GA with rapid detox because of the distressing, literally paralizing, distressing, painful effects of withdrawing so quickly. Dilaudid is around 8.3 times stronger than Morphine. It is a very strong synthetic opiate and worse to withdraw from than Heroin.Taking up to 21 days for withdrawls to cease. It is now day 14 and I am still suffering painful withdrawl symptoms. Ketamine is a fast acting GA. It has been found to be a useful in controlling pain in Palliative care patient's in a low dose infusion or injected. BUT also it has been found to decrease opiate tolerance by 30% to 50% in just 3 hours! It also means that it causes rapid detox. Ketamine itself is a nasty drug. It causes halucinations in every form and a feeling of being in different 'zones'. An example. I 'knew' staff were standing in front of me BUT I felt disassociated totally from them like I was in a different Universe! They were in one 'zone', I was in the other! I appoligise for the poor video and sound quality as the withdrawls made it extremly hard to breath and talk. The involuntry convulsions didn't help either.

@jschudar You can get through this too. Now on it get's so much better.

Everybody going through this: Stay Strong! Thank god I have parents who care about me (I'm 24 -- and they still helped me out) Without them keeping an eye on me I would fall right back into the pills. I was taking up to 15 30mg roxicodones a day...I'm on day 4.

@balckbettystack YOu took it for pain right ? I took mine for the Feel . Before I was addicted to Oxy it was first Cigarettes then Weed then beer then xTc then shrums then I got of all of it . 2 years later Oxy enter my life and this is where the crazy roller coster started . Oxy is more addictive then any drug Iv ever used . God is healing me from al addictions and im thankful for a loving God who cares ( This life is pain but Gods kingdom will be wonders beyond are reasoning

@simplistiCI I have only tried pot once and didn't like how uncontrolled it made me feel. That's why I NEVER become psychologically addicted to my pain meds as I hate the buzz. I don't know how people can enjoy it.

When I came off Oxys I stopped Cold ! how you ask ? Well by using POT lots and lots of POT !!! not once did I feel withdraw or insomnia !!! not once did I feel depressed of full !! I gained wight and felt Good . End of story

@blumac81 Why can not she share the video with the world? It might help other people. Why are you against her making these videos? They are very useful!

If anyone is struggling with addiction and can't afford to get on Suboxone maintenance themselves since doctors are so expensive, I have some extra 8mg scripts of Suboxone I am not using if anyone is interested in them send me a message on here. I got them for free with insurance so I'd give you a really good deal. Thanks.

GET IN THE ZONE GIRL....AN THAT DILUDEN SHIT SOUNDS DECENT TOO, SO GET ON IT. DEAD HARD......

Yeah I got hooked on Dilaudid / Oxycodone as a result of multiple abdominal surgeries due to Crohns disease. I would have never ever personally chose to take prescription opioid pain killers for shits and giggles otherwise. I entered the hospital with one problem and left with another (opioid addiction). I’m on suboxone now but I still don’t feel like my self by a long shot! I don’t have withdrawals but I just feel spaced out and never want to nor have a desire to do a damn thing!

Suboxone works... it is also easy to get off of. Pass it on.

@EffecTiSY GOING ON SUBOXENE AGAIAN ONCE AND FOR ALL IS IT TRUE THAT THEY GIVE YOU 5 BUT YOU HAVE TO BE IN WITHDRAWAL i WISH I NEVER GOT MY BACK INJURY ALWAYS TIRED AND DEPRESSED AM SEEING THERAPIST FOR THAT

@D1G1TALMAF1A

I'm leaving my house in 20 minutes for a doctor's appointment. Going to be my first attempt at kicking a two year addiction to heroin. This video was the last thing I wanted to see before that, haha.

One word " IBOGAINE" One time. That is all it takes. Addiction is over!!!

Whats bad is when you finally get over the physical part you still have the mental part left to deal with. I was told it was worse and while I was detoxing I was thinking "How can the mental part be worse than this pain" and they were right. For the next year I thought about pills every 5 mins. Even my dreams were about drugs. But after 1 year you almost forget about them completely. I've been clean for 8 years and I only think about them rarely. It does get easier. Stick with it. It pays off

When I was on heroin, somehow my mom came across a couple naltraxone pills and while I was in the bathroom she crushed one up in my iced-tea. 20 minutes later I went to shoot up and instead of a nice rush of euphoria I got instant horrible withdrawls that lasted 2 days, and its not like you can just take a whole bunch of opiates to overcome the naltraxone because you only get sicker, just got to ride it out. Wanted to kill the fuckin bitch.

hahahaha they gave you KETAMINE??!! WTF man that is nuts, i have never heard of a doctor administering that except on animals! haha i tried it when i was in high school, my friend got a huge amount for a good price and we would do it in the bathroom between classes and shit sometimes (i was wild then). That was one of the strangest drugs I have ever taken, made my palms sweat, colors REALLY bright, and even walking is difficult, thats just a first for me never heard that b4

holy shit, and i thought my 7 a day was bad

its a hard battle... just try and be happy

That's great. You CAN do it.

Thanks buddy. Though the VA changed plans on me, we agreed suboxone treatment would be best for me, but can't in till March 31st. Till then I guess I'll taper down, or use vicoprofen, I don't want to hurt my liver anymore, and I am still as committed as ever for getting off of this. If I need to, I'll go into inpatient detox before the 31st. Opiates are just plain evil!

I wish you well in your detox. Let me know how you go please? Good luck.

That's a little harsh my friend. If you haven't gone through opiate withdrawls you don't know what you're talking about. I have been through them and I become suicidal because I would rather be dead than feel that intense pain. I'm going into a detox program this week after about 8 months on vicodin, now tolerance is up to 30 vicodin 5/500 a day. I've commited myself to getting off of it no matter what it takes, it has ruined my life.

I'll write to you personally. But these videos were done for a TV show.
