Watching this was the last time i actually cried in my life...fits of laughter with tears of loss....go figure that out.
@linktriforce007

@MakotoUrl tis so true! you sir are a god:D
Has anyone here made that triple fried egg mango chutney chili powder sandwich?
Its so creepy but LMAO funny
I remember breaking out in laughter when I first saw this. It still brings a smile to my face and makes me cheer up. Rimmer is such a fun character.
@OMGlikeyeahno I don't know what you mean by "commentary" - is that a 'making-of' kind of thing? If it isn't him, don't you find it strange how this other person has literally exactly the same voice as him?!
Probably one the greatest British comedy programs ever to be made, absolute genius humour.
@Rich7714 he didnt sing it. if you listen to the commentary he says one of the crew did it.
Absolutely smeg-a-doodle-doo-ski... curry, chips and a lager fantastic... I love Red Dwarf... hee hee... Kryton is my favourite but Rimmer is a close 2nd place... :0)x
arnold arnold arnold rimmer classic great and hunkedori
up the zigaroll lickty split!!!! (im not sure on spelling)
i want this as my ringtone! this is my favorate bit from all the red dwarfs!
Love it =D
LOLOL
@Rich7714 Chris Barrie didn't sing this song, Howard Goodall did.
@gamewizard Perhaps, but it is tricky trying to get one person to sound like an ensemble of people. I'm a composer and I've tried this before. Plus, he would have had to be a professional singer to get all those musical harmonies right. I don't know, maybe singing is another hiden talent of his!
i want this as a ring tone, love it lol
Anyone got the chords for this?
@Rich7714
They don't necessarily need a choir. They could have gotten Chris to do the backing and then overdubbed it several times to make it sound like there were multiple backup singers.
There's a video on here of Chris Barrie at a Red Dwarf fan convention singing the first verse of this song.
I love this, a deffinate favourite bit out of all the series, it's a classic. So cute, so funny .
;o)
The first time you see this on the telly...it never leaves you.
I was in hysterics. Still am.
It came out of nowhere and proved to be a classic moment immediately. I want to hug whoever's idea it was.
i think after s6 it went downhill
Think you may have missed an obvious part of the joke here...
