@ArielBlaise Dairy stimulates insulin production as much as white bread does.

Hi there, thanks for the helpful tips here. Just have one question though. Why is dairy to be avoided? :)

whats the ratio of ACV to water that i should be drinking?

Would it be ok to drink Soy milk?

Thanks so much for the info! I just found out I have PCOS but it seems like with a few changes I can get back to normal soon and with minimal medications. :)

basically don't eat anything but health food oh joy

This video is very helpful - particularly about diary products. Diary has a low GI but it stimulates insulin production? Wow. Good info. Thanks for providing this.

Another thing I've learned is to avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice. A common treatment for PCOS is going on the birth control pill, which can cause nausea, and apparently grapefruit can aggravate this nausea.

Great tips!

Very informative. thank u.

@avilameon Yes!!! I recommend it to anyone.Search RawRadiantHealth channel. She has reversed hers. I wish I knew about her 5 years ago.

@ FunnyChloeMichelle Soy milk is bad news, especially if you have PCOS. Soy contains compounds that bind to your cellular estrogen receptors, and can wreak havoc on your endocrine system. Soy is not a health food - it is produced and marketed by some of the biggest agribusiness corps out there. The same ones who make high fructose corn syrup. Red flag, anyone? Coconut milk is great, and regular milk, if it's organic and the cows are pastured, is extremely healthy.

@FunnyChloeMichelle also try almond milk I think it tastes better when you make it yourself just search youtube for videos on how to make it it is very easy!

@FunnyChloeMichelle Soy milk is bad because it is mucus forming inside your body. coconut milk would be ok as long as it's all natural.

@midnightsaucery green leafy vegetables have calcium like kale spinache romaine lettuce! Kale is the best. And if you dont want to eat it just juice it!

would you recommend a vegetarian/vegain diet for PCOS patients? I am 21 and was diagnosed with PCOS three months ago.

Is coconut milk okay instead of regular milk? What about soy milk? Thank you!

@LoseWeightWithBrandy Thank you for the tip!!!! Wow! 42 pounds!! Good for you!

Thank you for these tips, is there a way of replacing the Calcium gained from Milk and Dairy, are there any other foods that provide Calcium, I only mention as one other sympton I get is Calcium spots on my nails and face

i had no idea dairy foods were bad for people with pcos. I guess i have to cut it out :(

I believe in you !!!! You can do it!!!

Thank you for throwing me a life line. Very overweight, facial hair, sleep apnea, irregular periods, BUT 4 days ago i decided to cut down drastically on carbs, im going to give myself a chance, (we want a baby) I know only I can do this, well here goes! Diane UK

thank you so much for this. pcos has been the source of much sadness and stress for me. i still have hope and faith that with dedication to health and positivity i can get my body back in alignment. we have to let go of the stress sisters! sometimes i feel that stress and anxiety in an overly masculine world affects our brains and bodies, especially in very sensitive women.. just my thoughts.. thanks and stay strong!
