I bent the contacts inside where the battery is...does anyone know where I can find a video on how to take this apart?

im sure this gun will take upgrades just fine...but the battery compartment is small, u might have to wire a battery to the outside wich with this gun would prb be a pain in the ass.

ah that happened to my aep... try to send it back if you can- taking it apart (the other option) would void your warranty

Yeah I kinda forgot about .43's... what kind of spring do you have in it if it can do 450FPs with .43g bbs? That would have to be like 800FPS with .2g's...

Dude...I use .43g bb's in my m24. They come out of the barrel at 450+ fps and can hit out to 250+ feet. And, I would not consider my rifle in the "elite" sniper rifle class. Still a lot more I could do to it. But ya... .43 grams.
